We work in communities confronting violence, displacement, poverty, inequality and climate change in East Africa.

Rising Nomads works with all communities on the Horn of Africa with a focus on communities on the border between Kenya and Somalia. With headquarters in Nairobi and Mogadishu, Rising Nomads responds to the needs of people living primarily in the Kenyan counties of Mandera, Garissa, Wajir, Lamu, and Isiolo, and in Mogadishu, Somaliland, Puntland and Jubaland.
